We had a great stay at a traditional Japanese accommodation. The staff were kind and supportive. The tatami room was spacious and comfortable, and they provided extra bedding. The breakfast was a cultural experience with lots of traditional Japanese delicacies, and there were many local restaurants nearby to explore. The in-house onsen was relaxing and enjoyable, perfect for soaking in after a day of skiing. we felt very at home and comfortable during our stay. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique cultural experience.

Enjoyed my winter vacation here and loved the ski/snowboarding slopes covered in fresh powder. the quaint village with communal onsen facilities was a highlight. the friendliness of staff cannot be stressed enough; they made genuine efforts to communicate despite language barriers. Also appreciated the big western-style beds and traditional Japanese-style room.

Wi-Fi was only accessible in the common area and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

the shared basins outside our room were a problem and we were woken up several times during the night by loud chatter and throat clearing. while we enjoyed the atmosphere and facilities, the noise was a significant negative aspect of our experience.
